Overview: The Scraper thin-film evaporator is a high-efficiency evaporation and distillation equipment that uses high-speed rotation to distribute liquid into a uniform thin film for evaporation or distillation. It can also perform unit operations such as deodorization, defoaming reactions, heating, and cooling. It is widely applicable to industries such as Chinese and Western pharmaceuticals, food, light industry, petroleum, chemical engineering, and environmental protection.
The centrifugal scraper thin-film evaporator adopts advanced foreign technology and holds a leading international position in the field of scraper thin-film evaporators in China. This equipment once served as the main unit of the Scraper vacuum honey refining unit and won the third prize for scientific and technological progress from the State Pharmaceutical Administration.
Performance and Features
This equipment uses a centrifugal sliding groove rotor, which is the latest structure evaporator abroad. It can form a thin film even when the flow rate is very small. The deposits in the processing liquid attached to the inner wall surface of the evaporation section of the cylinder can be quickly removed by the movable scraper. Compared with the scraper evaporator with a fixed gap, the evaporation capacity can be increased by 40 - 69%. It has the following performance and features:
1. High heat transfer coefficient, large evaporation capacity, and the evaporation intensity can reach 200kg/m²·hr, with high thermal efficiency.
2. Short material heating time, approximately between 5 and 10 seconds, and it operates under vacuum conditions, which is more favorable for heat-sensitive materials. It ensures that all components do not decompose and guarantees product quality.
3. It can adapt to a wide range of viscosity changes and can handle both high and low viscosity materials. The material viscosity can be as high as 100,000 centipoise (CP).
4. By changing the rotation direction of the scraper groove, the residence time of the material in the evaporator can be adjusted.
5. The inner wall of the evaporation section cylinder is precisely bored and polished, so it is not easy to cause coking and scaling on the surface.
6. Easy to operate, easy to adjust product indicators, and under sealed conditions, it can perform continuous production automatically.
7. The equipment covers a small area, has a simple structure, is convenient to maintain, and is easy to clean.
